Here is a little story to warm up your hearts (as it did mine.) 
Last week I was having a session with an amazing woman. Normally we wanted to talk about archetypes, see what hers was and for me to pass on messages from her Caregiver Archetype around how it affects her love and Business life. (More about that another time- it will also be in my book.
However, suddenly I was interrupted by a little snake in my mind’s eye who stepped forward with what she said were important messages. I was trying to blend this out, as this was not what the session was about: spirit animals.
This snake was persistent, though, and so I interrupted my train of thoughts and told my client:
“Listen, we have a snake here who wants you to know she’s there and that she’s helping you “shed your skin”, ie let go of the old, for your ancestors, yourself and future generations. That this work is deep and meaningful and for you to keep going. She’s with you this entire time.”
Client grins and says:
“I know EXACTLY what snake that is! I was driving to the office, when I saw a snake in the middle of the road. I stopped my car and saw it was wounded, so i took it with me. Once in the office, I was there when the snake transitioned and felt the spirit leaving the body. It has been with me ever since.”
Isn’t that most adorable? A snake who stayed with this woman to help her heal her ancestral lines, herself and her daughter?
Spirit animals are no joke. They exist and are incredibly powerful, both in their symbology, and in their ability to guide us and help us transform and heal on many levels.
