Once I had a healing session with a lovely woman from Qatar. Once I arrived at her throat chakra, I felt it was nearly exploding: I felt a lot of unexpressed anger in there and kept hearing in my mind:
“I wish I was a boy!”
After the session I asked her:
“Did you ever feel like you would have preferred to be a boy?”
She smiled sadly and replied: “Yes, when I was little I was allowed to play with the boys. Then, once I got older, they didn’t allow me to play with them anymore. I always wished I had been a boy because of that.”
She had blocked her whole feminine energy in her body because of that, and I explained to her that it was time to be proud to be a woman, and to let all that anger that accumulated in her throat to go. At the next session she showed up with beautiful blow dried hair and red nail-polish. Her whole energy had shifted. I still felt that her throat was unbalanced and after the session I told her it’s important to express herself, her emotions and how she feels.
“I grew up being told to be quiet,” she told me.
If you are are parent: never tell your daughters to be quiet, but allow them to express themselves and their emotions. Girls who grow up without learning how to express themselves will have so many difficulties later in life to stand up for themselves, and to feel like their message matters: to feel like what they feel matters…
I wished positive communication was taught early on in school, positive, non violent communication is what’s needed in this world – and we all have the capacity to become better communicators. So dear ones: if you don’t already do so: start expressing yourselves, stand up for yourselves and for what’s not ok – in a kind and non-violent way.
